As the year 2024 came to a close, the top navigation and maps applications on Android in Ireland exhibited varied performance metrics, reflecting user engagement and app traction. Here we analyze the weekly download trends and active user statistics of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

TFI Live maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.7K and 3.1K. Its weekly active users showed a stable pattern, ranging from approximately 81K to 86K throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a moderate decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 2.2K and ending the quarter at 1.3K. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at around 30K and dropping to 28K by the end of December.
